Katarina Lif Burren is a seasoned legal professional with extensive expertise in trust and corporate administration, as well as tax and legal advisory services, particularly in estate and succession planning and international tax matters for Scandinavian clients.

Born and raised in Sweden, she holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Uppsala University and a licentiate in law (Lic. iur.) from the University of Basel, Switzerland. She began her career in the financial planning department of a Swiss bank. As of 2000 she served at one of the Big Four firms, From 2005 to 2018, she was a Partner, Member of the Executive Committee, and Office Managing Partner at an international advisory and fiduciary firm.

Since 2019, Ms. Lif Burren has been one of the founding partners and Chairwoman of adills AG, a Basel-based advisory firm. She has been a Board Member of the Swedish Swiss Chamber of Commerce since 2016 and has played an active role in STEP Basel Branch, serving as a committee member and Chairperson since July 2020.

Fluent in Swedish (mother tongue), German, and English, Katarina Lif Burren continues to be a key figure in international tax and corporate advisory services.
